Bangladesh Violence Latest News: There is a lot of discussion in India about the coup in Bangladesh and the attacks on Hindus there. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader in Madhya Pradesh, Sajjan Singh Verma, has made such a controversial comment, after which he has come under the target of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Actually, Sajjan Singh Verma has said that like the riot-affected Bangladesh, in India too, people will one day attack the Prime Minister’s official residence and occupy it.
After this statement of Sajjan Singh Verma, the youth wing of Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded to register a case against him. Indore city unit president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Saugat Mishra along with party workers submitted a memorandum to the officials at MG Road police station on Wednesday. In this, a demand has been made to register a case against Verma.
Police started investigation after taking complaint
In this case, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-3) Ramsnehi Mishra said that the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha has filed a complaint against Sajjan Singh Verma for the speech given during a protest on Tuesday. This complaint will be investigated.
What has Sajjan Singh Verma said?
Sajjan Singh Verma said during a Congress protest in Indore on Tuesday that TV channels were reporting that people from Bangladesh had entered the Prime Minister’s official residence amid unrest in the neighbouring country due to the wrong policies of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her government. He further said, “Narendra Modi Yes, remember, one day due to your wrong policies people will enter the Prime Minister’s residence and occupy it (Prime Minister’s residence). Recently (in 2022) this happened in Sri Lanka, where people entered the Prime Minister’s (President’s) residence and then it happened in Bangladesh and now it is India’s turn.
